May I designate my gift to a specific part of MCC?
Gifts to the Annual Fund provide unrestricted support which allows MCC to put funds to use wherever the need is greatest. You may also designate your gift to nearly any college area. Please direct your designation questions to

What is the corporate matching gift program?
Contact your Human Resources office to see if your employer matches charitable gifts to MCC. If so, upon request, they will provide you with the form(s) you need to fill out and send to P.O. Box 1849, Bradenton, FL 34206. You may also go to our matching gift web link page. If your employer offers a matching gift program you may be able to double or even triple your gift to MCC!
Will my gift be eligible for tax deduction?
All gifts to the Foundation are eligible for a tax deduction. An official receipt will be forwarded to you.
What is The Foundation for MCC's tax ID number?
The Foundation for MCC has tax-exempt status under section 501(c) 3, a donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our tax ID number is 59-1843274.
When does the Annual Fund ask for support?
MCC’s fiscal year runs from October 1 to September 30. The Annual Fund cycle coincides with the Foundation’s fiscal year.
How often will I be contacted?
We send a minimum of one direct-mail appeal each year as well as invitations to any Foundation special events. Once you make an Annual Fund gift, you are removed from the direct mail solicitation schedule. Making your gift by December 31st is a great idea: it provides a year-end tax advantage for you, and MCC saves the cost of sending you additional mailings.
It seems like MCC has a lot of money already. Will my gift make a difference?
Yes. Since 1957, MCC has played a major role in providing educational opportunities to area students. Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund provide the greatest flexibility for MCC to meet the most pressing needs. Your gift is a significant and vital source of support. The majority of our unrestricted gifts are $250 or less.
