MCC FOUNDATION HIRES DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Venice, FL, October 13, 2008 --- The Foundation for Manatee Community College (MCC) recently named Pamela Gore Meade as Development Associate to service the Venice campus. With student enrollment at MCC Venice now approaching 3,000, the Foundation will expand its outreach in South Sarasota County to better meet the growing needs of faculty, students and the community it serves.
A native Floridian and ten-year resident of Englewood, Ms. Gore Meade comes to MCC with several years’ experience in program development with both academic institutions and non-governmental organizations. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville.
Gore Meade has been actively involved in several community organizations and charitable events in both Englewood and Sarasota in years past, and will continue to maintain strong community ties in her new role with the Foundation. She is married to Robert Meade, CEO of Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, and is the mother of two school-aged children.
