WHAT: A new 40,000 square foot state-of-the-art Medical Technology and Simulation Center simulating real–world settings from giving birth to an emergency room with trauma simulations, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, heart attacks and more.
WHERE: MCC Lakewood Ranch.

WHY: As the region’s largest provider of registered nurses, MCC is committed to offering our students and the healthcare community learning opportunities utilizing the latest in high-fidelity technology.

WHEN: Opening 2010

FEATURES
: Sophisticated adult and infant simulation technology, 8 ICU rooms, Birthing Room, Nursing Assessment Lab, Science Labs and Classrooms. The Center will permit students to practice their clinical skills in a controlled risk-free environment and provide continuing education for practicing health care professionals.
